Gated intake
Chat, text, and voice prompts pass the Jev prompt gate before the gateway. Commands pass the command gate. Destructive or externally visible work needs human confirmation; unattended cron jobs are limited to operations that can run without permission prompts.
Delegation and cost
Heavy coding delegates to a separate CLI agent with a flash-tier default. The chosen model is announced before every run, with no unapproved upgrade. A verified coding task took about ten minutes on the free tier, an acceptable tradeoff for this setup.
A practical rhythm
Scheduled work includes a morning digest and vault ingestion, an integrity watchdog that stays silent when healthy, and a gate shadow trial. Hosted Whisper speech-to-text and neural text-to-speech are configured, while live end-to-end voice remains pending. Single-file HTML dashboards are native deliverables.
